A quick suggestion for the "Sole-Survivor is a Synth" theory, in the far-harbor DLC, DiMA actually goes so far as to suggest to the Survivor that he could very well be a synth, but seeing as to how there's no way to determine anything without killing the Survivor, again, we don't get a definite conclusion. It is definitely worth mentioning though.

Some of these Terrifying Pressence dialogue options make me kind of wish there were some that were both terrifying, not because you're doing anything to them, but rather you put into perspective of what you're capable of. Take Ranger Milo for example. I would just love to just had an extra dialogue option where you just say as apart of dialogue, "Don't worry Ranger, I hunt these guys for sport" or something cheesy/stupid like that.

Game isn't dead, has a small dedicated community on PC. I met them and did achievements with them was fun. For reference the story doesn't exist until the DLC's. Point of contact isn't really story at all so not surprised you missed story as you kinda didn't play it

The thundergun in the black ops campaign was honestly the worst lol. It’s so hard to tell if you hit the canisters or not and then to go as far as you do to realize you did it wrong was irritating. Even better as soon as you unlock it you spend the rest of the level fighting enemies from a distance that you will have a not so fun time hitting with it 😅
